16-year-old Iakovos decides to save his mother, Eleni, from his addicted father, Manolis, who abuses her on a regular basis. Our story begins the evening of the great escape when Jacob manages to put in motion a carefully designed plan for their exit from the paternal home. That same afternoon, Iakovos has a symbolic dream, which gives him courage and motivates him to act.
