Peter Pappas, a Greek-American visiting Greece on holiday, is caught in a chance taxi accident—only to realise that the driver is his childhood friend, Meletis. Years ago, they were both apprentices to the puppeteer Mr. Stamatis, who feared that the art of Shadow Theater was fading away. Determined to uncover what became of their old mentor, they embark on a heartfelt journey, tracing the story of a man weathered by life but still devoted to bringing joy to children through his shadow figures.
